We are seeking a highly motivated, people-first
Studio Director to lead day-to-day operations, drive membership growth, exceed
monthly revenue targets and foster a strong, high-performing culture of
accountability and progress. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in
leadership, is passionate about fitness, and is ready to take unwavering
ownership of both the client experience and business performance.
The Studio Director is responsible for sales,
staff development, client retention, and ensuring the studio runs at a high
level operationally and culturally.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Foster a positive,
high-performance culture rooted in accountability and growth
- Conduct regular team
meetings, training, and performance check-ins
- Hire, onboard, and
mentor new team members
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive new membership
sales through consultations, referrals, and community outreach
- Own the membership sales
process from lead management to close
- Drive lead outreach
calls weekly to book prospects
- Track KPIs and studio
performance metrics
- Execute marketing
initiatives and local partnerships
Client Experience & Retention
- Ensure a best-in-class
client experience from onboarding through long-term retention
- Build strong
relationships with members and maintain a community-focused environment
- Address client concerns
and feedback proactively
- Oversee member
check-ins, goal setting, and progress tracking
Operations & Administration
- Manage daily studio
operations, scheduling, and staff coverage
- Maintain cleanliness,
organization, and brand standards
- Handle basic
administrative tasks (client account management)
- Ensure systems and
processes are followed consistently
Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership
experience in fitness, wellness or health-related field (preferred)
- Proven track record in
sales and/or client relationship management
- Strong communication and
interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with
the ability to multitask
- Passion for health,
fitness, and helping others succeed
- Ability to lead by
example and take ownership of results

What We Do
Denver School of the Arts Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit fundraising and outreach organization supporting Denver School of the Arts, a tuition-free conservatory-model public secondary school. It fills funding gaps beyond Denver Public Schools’ support, helping sustain arts programming, guest artists, student assistance, scholarships, performances, inclusiveness, and diversity while advancing rigorous arts education for students from diverse backgrounds through community support.
