If you were the Allocations Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing
- Managing the overall replenishment process for a subset of brand stores and/or factory outlets - from implementation to exit, ensuring the right inventory for new stores
- Analyzing store level inventory and sales to determine trends and maximize sales opportunities on a weekly basis
- Making recommendations on store levels and products based on sales data and store feedback
- Identifying and highlighting any concerns in inventory levels and immediately investigating into options to solve the problem
- Working closely with the stores/outlets to ensure they are aware of product flow, replenishment flow, and any deviation or changes to the plan
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and the brand stores/outlets to provide insight into retail functions and processes
- Helping to identify regional shortages and overages for the Open To Buy process
- Creating stock transfers and/or return authorizations in season to maximize sales and at season’s end, to send product back to the distribution centers or to outlet locations
- Liaising with the warehouse, stores, and merchandising teams to help coordinate smooth integration of replenishment and seasonal product drops
- Identifying issues and gaps in process and supporting the team to help find resolutions
- Assisting with preparation of management reports and historical re-caps to analyze and communicate business performance
- Partnering with Merchants, Visual Merchandise Planners, and the Store Design team to ensure new store opening timing is aligned and a work back plan is in place for inventory
- Supporting the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectives
- Traveling as required for store visits
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
