The Opportunity:

We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command’s Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM’s primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2’s priorities in the Middle East.
Responsibilities:

As a Political/Military Analyst for Regional Issues, you will have the opportunity to independently produce timely, relevant all-source analysis on security and political developments affecting defense issues in the CENTCOM region and its periphery in line with DNI/DIA analytic tradecraft standards, USCENTCOM guidelines and appropriate templates.

Provide operational and strategic-level intelligence products containing predictive analysis, actionable intelligence and indications and warnings.

Produce intelligence products supporting plans, targeting and collection as required.

Provide intelligence analyst support upon request to CENTCOM leaders, staff, and components, providing the flexibility to quickly respond to requests for intelligence products produced at a high standard.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly required.

Specialized training and 10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree.

Experience writing to the DNI/DIA analytic tradecraft standards and giving presentations to senior military leadership, CENTCOM partners and other intelligence community clients.

Demonstrated expertise in their intelligence area of specialization sufficient to discuss pertinent issues with analysts throughout the intelligence community and with other partners.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.

Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.

Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,900 - $148,900
