Job Summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Senior Level All-Source Analyst (MILCAP) to use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to conduct all-source analytic production on foreign defense industrial programs, infrastructure, and capabilities supporting a foreign country’s ability to develop, equip, sustain, and employ its military forces across basic, strategic, and military industrial sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Provide production that study complexity of adversarial systems.
  • Using your comprehensive understanding of all-source analytic tradecraft, production cycles, publication standards, community writing styles, and formats, you’ll produce strategic-level assessments and products that address the MILCAP problem set with a specific focus on developments and trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 12+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree
  • Experience analyzing and breaking down complex systems
  • Experience with the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) or the Machine-Assisted Rapid-repository System (MARS)
  • Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years as an all-source military capabilities analyst
  • Knowledge of conventional weapon systems
  • Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Normal office environment.

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000.00 to $150,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Castalia Systems’ total compensation package for employees.
