Skills & Attributes
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering (Electronic, Physics, Chemical), or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years’ experience in algorithm development, digital signal processing, or data science roles, ideally with real-world product or sensor data.
- Advanced mathematical and statistical expertise, including linear algebra, multivariate analysis, optimization, and digital signal processing.
- Proficient Python coder; able to develop scalable, production-level code.
- Comfortable with Linux for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with sensor technology, analytical instrumentation, or optical measurement systems is highly valued.
- Familiarity with calibration, quality control, and beta product deployment is an asset.
- Analytical and creative problem-solver; able to design and deliver innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to synthesize and present technical findings clearly for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative, independent, and proactive, with a strong track record of contributing to multidisciplinary teams and managing your own work.
- Exposure to agile development environments is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability, scientific innovation, and making a real-world impact.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are an asset.
