What You'll Do...
- Accountable for the development of airfreight operations and the management of the airfreight team across Malaysia offices.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with airlines, GSA agents, and warehouse operators.
- Track and trace with all compliance with IATA and ensuring adherence to payment cycles.
- Ensure all shipments tendered to the company are handled in a timely and profitable manner.
- Customer service orientated and result driven.
- Adhere to corporate compliance, global and local policies with procedures designed to prevent and detect violations of applicable law, regulations, rules and ethical standards by employees, agents and others.
- Any ad-hoc assignment that have been assigned from time to time.
What You'll Need...
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years similar experience in the Ocean / Air freight industries
- Knowledgeable in commercial and operational roles in freight management/NVOCC business (Product/Commercial Business Development/Tender Management)
- Strong external and internal networks related to Ocean/Air freight
- Proven experience working in a global, matrix business environment
- Strong commercial mind-set and good product knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills & negotiation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
