JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: AIRFRAME ANALYST
Department: QC Records
Reports To: Airframe Records Supervisor
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Shift: Full Time - 1st Shift
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the administration of Aircraft Records in accordance with company policy and FAA standards.
- Audit all maintenance documentation to ensure all maintenance performed is documented and recorded completely and correctly.
- Provide constant monitoring of all required airframe, engine, and component inspection requirements.
- Ensures all fitted components are tracking, and if time controlled are forecasting due when required as per Kalitta Air’s CAMP.
- Ensure accountability, correctness, and completeness of all legal documents pertaining to aircraft, engine, and component maintenance. Maintain a check and balance system of aircraft records in.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- FAA Mechanic Airframe and Power plant Licenses desired, but not required
- Excellent skill level with maintenance documentation.
- Must have a good working knowledge of computers.
- Must have a good working knowledge of how to use maintenance software systems.
- Must have a basic understanding of how to use maintenance manuals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in auditing documentation, required.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in 14 CFR Part 121 air carrier maintenance or operations, desired.
- Have used maintenance tracking systems, desired, preferably AMOS.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using calculators.

What We Do
Air freight cargo transportation, worldwide movement of common cargo, oversized/overweight loads, mail and military support. Operates B-767-300F, B-777-200F, as well as B-747-400BCF and B-747-400ERF aircraft. The 121 airline is based in Ypsilanti MI (KYIP).
