About This Role
- To control and coordinate the movement of the NFTI Air traffic ensuring smooth, safe and efficient flying training.
- Coordinate with CNS/ ARFF/ ELECTRICALS/ and other agencies for ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of flying operation.
- Provide traffic information to all traffic in air and ground and ensure adequate separation/ Prevent collision between aircraft and also to maintain the log of all flights operating at Gondia airport.
- Monitor serviceability status of various sub-systems and in the event of malfunctioning /degradation / failure of any sub-system reports the same to respective departments as necessary for rectification action on priority.
- Coordination between NFTI Traffic and other adjacent Air Traffic Control unit.
- Report any incident / accident to the ARFF and respective departments. Take actions in accordance with contingency plans to deal with aircraft emergency/accident as appropriate.
- Carrying out periodic R/W inspection.
- Air traffic controllers’ primary concern is safety, but they also must direct aircraft efficiently to minimize delays. They manage the flow of air traffic within airport airspace & guide pilots during takeoff and landing.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Preferably CPL holder and or with Flight radio telephony license or with defense background, experience in handling air traffic.
Minimum Passed 10+2
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Preferably having aviation experience at-least of 2years.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Should be well versed communicating in English and aviation terminology.
