Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a global third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking a Logistics Professional to join our growing team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Air Import Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of inbound air shipments, from processing and coordinating deliveries to providing consistent communication with clients and vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of air import shipments, including documentation preparation, data entry, shipment tracing and delivery arrangements
- Coordinate terminal payments, ensuring promptly processing and follow up to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Communicate daily with clients and vendors via email, providing updates and resolving issues as needed
- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with customs regulations and company standards
- Utilize internal systems (including CargoWise, if applicable) to manage shipment details and status updates, track and tracing.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure a seamless import process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or similar field preferred but not required.
- Experience in air import operations preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CargoWise is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Pay Range: $28.85 - $31.25 per hour, based on industry experience. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
