AI/ML Engineer

At iVoyant, we build next generation Enterprise Products and Solutions with cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, particularly in the areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs). You will work closely with our data science and data engineering teams to create scalable and efficient AI solutions. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year specifically in LLM development, fine-tuning, and deployment, as well as over 2 years of experience in NLP projects and MLOps with Azure. 

Location: iVoyant Systems Private Limited, J P Nagar 2nd Phase Bangalore, KA.   

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development and Deployment:

• Design, develop, and deploy LLMs and NLP models.
• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific applications.
• Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines on Azure for continuous integration and deployment of ML models. 

 Data Science and Engineering:

• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to preprocess and analyze data. 
•  Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
•  Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ML lifecycle.

 Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and NLP.
• Experiment with new algorithms and techniques to improve model performance.
•  Publish research findings and contribute to the AI/ML community.

 Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
•  Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•  Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications: 

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 

• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of overall experience in AI/ML engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs.
• Over 2 years of experience in NLP projects.
• Experience with MLOps and deploying models on Azure.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
•  Experience with NLP libraries and tools (SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face, etc.).
•  Familiarity with Azure ML services and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and tools (SQL, Spark, etc.). 
•  Opensource LLMs or OpenAI implementation application experience.
• Experience in observability tools (Opentelementry, Weights & Bias, etc.). 

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
