Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Fatigue and Static Stress Engineer (f/m) to join our Ailerons and Spoilers Design Office based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of the team developing these wing moveable parts, and supporting their manufacturing and in service activities, for all Airbus Civil Programs. As part of the Skills Team, you will be involved in all types of engineering activities for these components, aiming at challenging the existing products, supporting all our customers and suppliers efficiently, and designing the best Ailerons and Spoilers for current and next aircraft generation.

Your challenges:
● Analyze and validate our metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, and all our composite & hybrid structures in Static as well
● Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports or justifications, as well as test programs and reports
● Define the justification approaches, and ensure the progress of activities, with the support of Technical Authority and Senior engineers
● Support the manufacturing by assessing non-conformities, and the airlines through answer to in-service events
● Work closely with design engineers and interface and communicate with all the relevant stakeholders (experts and authorities, engineering teams within Airbus and out of Airbus, sub-contractors…)
As the team works across multi-programs and in a multi-work package environment, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all the projects along the entire component life cycle.
Your boarding pass:
● Master degree in Engineering school
● 4 years minimum of experience in F&DT and, ideally, in Stress on composite structures as well
● Ability to get signature delegation within 2 years is required
● Good knowledge of Stress Tools (e.g. ISAMI, Hypermesh, Nastran…)
● Knowledge of manufacturing support would be a plus
● IT skills (e.g. Python Programming…) would be a plus
● Good communication skills
● Autonomous approach with a good ability to react and adapt
● Language skills: Intermediate of English and French
