What is a day in the life of an AIGC Content Strategist & Producer?
- Use AI video generation platforms (Seedance, Tolstoy, Nano Banana, HeyGen) to produce e-commerce content including spokesperson/avatar videos, before/after product narratives, and short-form clips
- Develop content concepts, hooks, and scripts — building the creative and storytelling layer behind each AI-generated asset
- Iterate on AI prompts to refine outputs and move efficiently from concept to publish-ready creative
- Handle basic video editing — trimming clips, adding text overlays and captions, formatting assets to platform spec for TikTok and Instagram
- Ensure all creative is optimized for conversion, with a strong eye for hook strength, pacing, and CTA placement
- Test new AI platforms and tools and bring recommendations for improving the content production workflow
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader AIGC and e-commerce teams to align on creative direction and output expectations
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- Hands-on experience with AI video generation platforms such as Seedance, Tolstoy, Nano Banana, HeyGen, or comparable tools
- A strong creative strategy background — you know how to write a hook, build a narrative arc, and structure content that actually converts
- Basic video editing skills for social and e-commerce content (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or equivalent)
- Experience in Meta ads, performance creative, D2C brand content, or UGC creative strategy — you understand what makes content perform on paid and organic channels
- Ability to move fast, test without fear, and iterate until the output is right
- A portfolio of past work demonstrating both AI-generated content production and creative strategy thinking — this is required to be considered
What does high performance look like?
- You consistently produce content that performs — you don't just hit volume targets, you bring a storytelling layer that drives brand visibility and measurable conversion
- You demonstrate a strong instinct for platform-native creative — your hooks land, your pacing keeps viewers watching, and your CTAs convert
- You proactively test and evaluate new AI tools, bringing recommendations to improve the workflow before being asked
- You take full ownership of the content lifecycle from brief to published asset, with minimal revisions needed
- You balance a high-output pace with quality judgment — you know when something is good enough to move forward and when it needs another iteration
What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
- 30 days: You've gotten up to speed on the team's current tools (Seedance, Tolstoy), reviewed existing AIGC output, and produced your first set of publish-ready assets. You understand the brand portfolio and content expectations from key stakeholders.
- 60 days: You're operating independently — developing content concepts, iterating on prompts, editing, and delivering at pace. You've identified at least one workflow or creative improvement and brought it to the team.
- 90 days: You're a trusted creative voice on the team. Your content is performing, you're contributing strategic ideas beyond execution, and you've demonstrated the ability to balance volume with quality consistently.
