Job Description 

The AIDP Solutions Lead is responsible for leading a team of solutions engineers to drive education, adoption and enablement, and effective utilization of the AI Development Platform across the firm. This role sits at the intersection of customers, product teams, and engineering—ensuring teams are well-informed of AIDP capabilities, connected to the right solutions, and able to successfully deliver AI use cases leveraging the platform. 

The role focuses on connecting demand to platform capabilities, enabling customers through education and hands-on support, and helping surface and prioritize enterprise needs across the AIDP portfolio. While not owning product direction, this role plays a critical part in ensuring product teams are informed by real customer demand and usage patterns. 

The Solutions Lead acts as a central intake and orchestration layer for the fleet—streamlining how demand enters AIDP, guiding teams to the right capabilities, and maximizing platform adoption and impact. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage a team of AIDP Solutions Engineers, driving priorities, execution, and impact 

  • Develop broad awareness of enterprise AI use cases and AIDP offerings to guide solutioning 

  • Connect teams working on similar problems to accelerate outcomes and reduce duplication 

  • Identify demand patterns and influence AIDP product roadmap priorities 

  • Build rapid prototypes, POCs, and reusable reference implementations to showcase capabilities 

  • Create code samples, accelerators, and patterns to reduce time-to-value 

  • Lead AIDP Office Hours (weekly open sessions for developers across the firm) and drive continuous learning across the organization 

  • Champion AIDP community engagement by answering questions and scaling knowledge 

  • Deploy forward into high-impact areas to accelerate builds and transfer knowledge back to the platform 

  • Document best practices, architectures, and solution patterns in collaboration with teams 

  • Elevate AIDP success stories and drive internal awareness of platform capabilities 

  • Act as the central connector (‘glue’) across teams, products, and stakeholders 

Required Skills 

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and Generative AI ecosystems 

  • Experience building or guiding AI/LLM-based applications 

  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence across organizations without direct authority 

  • Hands-on experience developing prototypes, APIs, and reusable solutions 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Experience working in global, cross-functional environments 

  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities 

Desired Skills 

  • Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or agentic architectures 

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI 

  • Background in platform engineering, developer enablement, or solution architecture 

  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field 

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or AI platforms 

  • Prior experience leading teams or managing engineers

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $195,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
