he person works directly with children and their families and may have to intervene in the child's various living environments (home, daycare, school). In a multidisciplinary context, the FEW works closely with the specialists to offer services to children who show signs of developmental delays.
As a Family Education Worker, the person will perform psychosocial tasks and develop, organize and lead activities with young families. Under the supervision of the coordinator based in Kuujjuaq, the person will have to develop collaboration with CLSC and other community partners.
More specifically, the mandate includes:
Home visits
Individual, familial or group intervention
Early stimulation (home, daycare, etc.)
Radio capsules
