We are looking for an AI Video Editor to help bring the future of AI video creation to life. You'll work at the intersection of creative storytelling, video craftsmanship, and emerging AI technology—transforming raw AI-generated footage into polished videos that showcase what's possible with OpusClip.

You have exceptional taste in video editing and visual storytelling, and you're excited by the challenge of turning imperfect AI outputs into compelling, high-quality content.

You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy experimenting with new creative tools, and aren't afraid to rethink traditional editing workflows.

• Create high-quality demo videos, marketing assets, and advertisements using AI-generated footage as your starting point.

• Combine AI outputs with motion graphics, compositing, visual effects, and traditional editing techniques to achieve production-ready results.

• Rapidly prototype video concepts, iterate based on feedback, and deliver polished content on tight timelines.

• Partner closely with product, marketing, and design teams to showcase new features and communicate product value through video.

• Help define and improve AI-assisted video production workflows, contributing insights that influence both creative processes and product development.

• Produce reference-quality edits that help train and improve OpusClip's AI-powered editing systems.

• 3–6 years of experience in video editing, motion design, or related creative disciplines.

• Strong proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other professional post-production tools.

• Experience using AI video generation or AI-assisted creative tools in your workflow.

• Excellent visual storytelling instincts, with a strong sense of pacing, composition, and polish.

• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality editing work across marketing, product, social, or commercial content.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities and rapid feedback cycles.

• You can take rough, incomplete, or inconsistent footage and turn it into something polished and engaging.

• You understand both the strengths and limitations of today's AI video tools and know how to bridge the gap with creative problem-solving.

• You move quickly without sacrificing quality and are comfortable shipping, learning, and iterating continuously.

• You have strong attention to detail and a high bar for visual quality.

• You enjoy experimenting with new tools, workflows, and creative approaches.

• Location: On-site in Mountain View, CA (4 days per week)

• Engagement: Contract role with potential for full-time conversion

• You prefer working only with polished, production-ready footage.

• You're uncomfortable working with AI-generated content and its imperfections.

• You prefer highly structured creative processes over rapid experimentation and iteration.

• You haven't incorporated AI video tools into your editing workflow.
