We are seeking an AI Transformation Lead, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), to spearhead the next phase of our innovation and evolution.

The AI Transformation Lead is responsible for defining, owning, and executing the organization’s artificial intelligence strategy. This role bridges business objectives, product vision, and technical capabilities to ensure AI investments drive measurable value. The AI Transformation Lead partners closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, data, legal, and operations teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and scale responsible AI adoption across the company.

This role is equal parts strategist, translator, and operator - setting direction while ensuring real world execution.

Job Description

AI Strategy & Vision

  • Define and maintain a clear, company-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals and long-term roadmap
  • Identify high-impact AI use cases across products, operations, risk, customer experience, and internal workflows
  • Establish success metrics (ROI, efficiency, quality, revenue impact) for AI initiatives

Portfolio & Program Leadership

  • Own the AI initiative portfolio: prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing
  • Translate business problems into AI opportunities and ensure solutions are pragmatic and scalable
  • Drive pilots from concept to production, ensuring measurable outcomes
  • Sunset or pivot initiatives that do not deliver value

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver AI solutions
  • Act as the primary interface between executive leadership and technical teams for AI-related decisions
  • Ensure AI initiatives are embedded into core workflows, not isolated experiments

Governance, Risk & Responsible AI

  • Establish AI governance frameworks covering transparency, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure responsible use of generative AI, machine learning, and automation technologies
  • Monitor evolving AI regulations and industry standards; adapt strategy accordingly

Enablement & Change Management

  • Educate executives and leaders on AI capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs
  • Build internal AI literacy through frameworks, playbooks, and best practices
  • Influence culture change to support AI-driven decision-making and automation

Market & Technology Awareness

  • Stay current on AI trends, platforms, vendors, and tooling (e.g., GenAI, LLMs, MLOps)
  • Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and manage key AI vendor relationships
  • Assess competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation through AI

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, product, data, technology, or consulting roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI, data, or advanced analytics initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, and data-driven systems (technical depth without needing to code daily)
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate at the executive level
  • Experience working in highly regulated or complex environments preferred

The average base salary for this role is $155,000 - $160,000 USD and eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
