In-Person Position

OXOS is searching for an AI Technical Leader to join our high-growth company. You will join a dynamic team of passionate people who work daily to change how radiographic diagnostics are delivered. OXOS’ mission is to increase access and availability using the world’s first portable Dynamic Digital Radiography devices. 

Responsibilities

As the AI Technical Leader, you will fuse hands-on architecture and full-stack development with strategic leadership to deliver secure, cloud-native tools that make every engineer more productive and every audit effortless. You will build the core platform that powers compliance automation, traceability, and AI-assisted workflows, accelerating innovation in medical device development. The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Architect & deliver the core platform integrating Google Cloud, Spring Boot, graph databases, and GenAI pipelines.
  • Ship production-grade tools that eliminate manual compliance handoffs and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Automate critical workflows (design change, risk traceability, verification evidence) into audit-ready outputs.
  • Establish AI governance with coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, SBOM enforcement, and model drift monitoring.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, regulatory, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Build systems for codifying structured and unstructured data into a knowledge management system
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines with automated Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, model drift alerts, and reproducible prompt libraries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; a master’s is preferred.
  • 8+ years designing enterprise-grade Java systems.
  • At least one commercial product built with Spring Boot on a cloud platform.
  • Demonstrable experience integrating AI services and graph databases. 
  • Exposure to medical devices or other regulated industries is highly desirable. 
  • Advanced skills in Google Cloud Platform and associated technologies.
  • Advanced skills in graph databases, Vector Embeddings & LLM APIs.
  • Advanced skills in automated testing, integrating the use of agents and assistants.
  • Advanced skills in DevSecOps / laC (Terraform, Cloud Build).
  • Advanced skills in Agile & Scrum Metrics, and Automated Testing (JUnit, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 / 62304 concepts or experience in regulated industries (preferred)
