We are seeking AI Technical Leads to join JourneyOne, one of Rmkble’s specialist businesses dedicated to taking clients on remarkable transformation journeys.
What you’ll be doing
Our AI Technical Leads are loving the opportunity that this role gives them to get hands-on with the latest AI technologies, while leading a team of software engineers who are shaping impactful outcomes for forward-thinking clients who are committed to capitalising on the value of AI.
About you
We need Perth-based technical leaders with at least 5 years dedicated software engineering experience, who know how to lead high performing engineering teams, and who already have a track record for developing AI-enabled solutions in corporate environments.
Some core skills
This role leverages a blend of technical credibility and people engagement:
Team Leadership
- Leading local or remote development teams in agile environments
- Providing guidance on solution design, problem resolution and quality assurance
- Learning, collaborating and mentoring team members on agentic engineering best practices
Technical Experience
- Designing scalable cloud solutions in corporate environments
- Exposure to an AI agent development framework, such as AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio, LangChain etc
- Developing cloud-native, serverless solutions using NodeJS and React under AWS; Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS
- Developing data engineering solutions using Python
- Establishing and maintaining development environments that support automation through CI/CD
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and enterprise security standards
- Working knowledge of AWS database services, including DynamoDB, RDS, and Aurora
- Knowledge of data pipeline architectures and ETL processes
Product Development Experience
- Working with product managers and business partners to understand requirements, ideate and shape solution options
- Breaking down proposed solutions into epics and user stories, including estimation
- Leading showcases of prototypes, MVPs, and delivered solutions

Skills Required
- Based in Perth
- At least 5 years of dedicated software engineering experience
