Role Summary:

We're looking for an AI Strategy & Implementation Manager to lead AI adoption across Maker Lab and our global clients. You’ll drive strategy, tools, and processes balancing innovation with a people-first mindset to power smarter, tech-driven teams.

Role:

Strategic AI Roadmap Implementation: Empowering In-House Excellence

  • AI Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI implementation roadmap aligned with the agency's strategic goals and client needs. Identify opportunities for AI to improve efficiency, personalisation, targeting, operational workflows, and performance measurement.
  • Solution Identification & Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend AI tools, platforms, and technologies (e.g., generative AI, predictive analytics, natural language processing, machine learning) that can be integrated into marketing workflows and internal central team workflows.
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end AI implementation projects, from conceptualisation and pilot programs to full-scale deployment. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and new business development director to understand their needs, gather requirements, drive strategic direction and facilitate the adoption of AI solutions. Act as a subject matter expert and internal consultant. 
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and redesign existing marketing processes and internal processes  to incorporate AI, ensuring seamless integration and maximising the benefits of automation and intelligence.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external AI technology providers and consultants, managing relationships and ensuring solutions meet agency standards and requirements.
  • Client Management: Work with our existing and potential clients to understand their requirements and how our AI solutions can work best for them. Play a crucial role in client interactions when needed. 
  • Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs and best practices to educate embedded teams on AI tools, capabilities, and ethical considerations, fostering an AI-first mindset. Champion a culture of continuous learning and experimentation with AI, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where creative and data-driven problem-solving is encouraged and supported through the strategic use of AI.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and monitor the performance of implemented AI solutions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management & Ethics: Ensure AI implementations comply with data privacy regulations, ethical guidelines, and agency standards for responsible AI use.
  • Stay Current: Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and competitive landscapes to keep the agency at the forefront of AI innovation in marketing.

You:

  • Experience in consulting or technology focusing on AI and technology implementation, while having a strong understanding of advertising, marketing and the creative industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g., NLP, computer vision, machine learning), and understanding of the AI project lifecycle.
  • Skills: Strong project management, analytical, and organisational skills; exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities; experience with AI and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
