This Position reports to:
Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement in the automatic production processes all the necessary solutions based on Artificial Intelligence both developed in your own or developed by using the supplier support. You will also have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. All the activities described above should be carried out both by using the AI solution already in use, and by using new AI solutions fitted for the specific case. The target is to introduce the artificial intelligence in the already installed production process and to understand how to introduce in the new ones.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements powered by Artificial Intelligence.
Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.
Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
Evaluating new process technologies AI-powered to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.
Qualifications for the role
You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
You are familiar with AI concepts
You are curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You are at ease communicating in both English and Italian, and can clearly present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
