Job Summary: USG is seeking a forward-thinking AI Specialist to join our innovative team and help drive the integration of artificial intelligence into our operations, workflows, and client services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI, automation, and building smarter business solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions across business units (e.g., underwriting, claims, customer service, marketing).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and improve decision-making through data analysis and machine learning.
- Research and evaluate third-party AI tools and technologies that align with USG’s strategic objectives.
- Work with IT and operations teams to integrate AI applications into existing systems and workflows.
- Monitor AI performance, provide support and training, and continuously optimize models for relevance and efficiency.
- Ensure ethical use of AI and compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Present findings and progress to leadership in a clear and actionable format.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience working with AI/ML models, automation tools, or data analytics.
- Proficiency with tools/languages such as Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Azure, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, predictive modeling, and data pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, but not required.
