Too Good To Go is a certified B Corp company, on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste
The Role

At Too Good To Go we aim to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. 40% of all the food produced in the world is wasted, with a big impact on the planet: 10% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide come from food loss and waste.

Too Good To Go operates the world’s largest B2C marketplace for surplus food. Through our app we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at a reduced price. We are a mission-driven certified B Corp.

We’re growing fast: Our community of over 120 million registered users across 19 countries has already saved more than 400 million meals from going to waste - together avoiding more than 1 million tonnes of CO2e from entering the atmosphere.
In 2023, Apple recognised Too Good To Go as Winner at the annual App Store Awards, for our app’s exceptional user experience and profound impact on society.

We always look for talented people with diverse backgrounds to join our team. Right now we’re recruiting an AI Solutions Architect.

Your mission

As our AI Solutions Architect you will design and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions that automate and optimize our commercial business processes, with the aim of driving Sales efficiency. You will partner with stakeholders across commercial, product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process optimization by leveraging AI, and lead the design, testing and scaling of solutions, while ensuring alignment with technical standards, security, and compliance requirements.

You will tackle specific business challenges in our sales operations on a project basis, and leverage your deep knowledge of AI tools in the market to develop MVP solutions, and embed these into the daily sales processes.

By combining your technical skills and commercial understanding, you will help our sales teams across 19 countries work more effectively, spend time on what matters, ultimately leading to more food saved. This role will be based in Copenhagen and reports to our Chief Commercial Officer.

Role description

  • Opportunity Identification: You will be gathering context of existing sales processes to assess key opportunities for automation and AI/ML solutions in our operations, challenging current setups, and being a sparring partner to the rest of the Global Commercial teams and broader organization.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: You will lead the end-to-end selection and design of AI/ML systems for commercial teams, from requesting data pipelines, selecting the appropriate models to use, sourcing/developing tools and prompts, and deploying and monitoring solutions.
  • Change Management: Your job is to drive change in the organization, and you will be working with other teams in the Global Commercial function to introduce new AI tools and improve ways of working in our operations for lasting impact.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: The work is cross-functional by nature, and you will be engaging with colleagues across the company to map workflows and identify automation opportunities. You will be responsible for translating business needs into powerful technical solutions.
  • Platform & Tooling Selection: As an internal AI expert, you will be recommending which AI platforms and tools we should leverage in our commercial teams. You will oversee procurement and integration of third-party AI services in the Sales community, in close collaboration with our Tech and Legal teams.
  • Security & Compliance: You will be expected to comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and organizational security policies.
  • Community & Knowledge Sharing. As a domain expert, you will form a community with other data scientists, ML engineers, and developers in the company on AI practices, and be an ambassador of the AI journey across all teams.

  • Solid experience with business process automation platforms and iPaaS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and webhook integrations.
  • Experience with JSON, data mapping, and transformation.
  • Proficiency in workflow logic, conditional operations, and error handling.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated workflow solutions using modern workflow automation platforms (such as Make.com, N8N, Zapier, or similar tools)
  • Strong AI prompting skills, experience leveraging APIs to connect data sources, and building MVP solutions.
  • Experience with project and change management, preferably from introduction of new tech solutions.
  • Good understanding of sales processes, preferably in a B2B environment.
