The job in short
As an AI Solutions Architect focusing on Backbase's Intelligence Fabric, you will design and articulate AI-driven solutions that address complex banking challenges. You will collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling technical narratives that demonstrate the value of our Intelligence Fabric to sophisticated banking clients. Your expertise in data architecture, AI implementation, and banking processes will position you as a trusted advisor who can translate technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
Meet the job
● Design scalable, secure AI and data architecture solutions tailored to specific banking use cases, leveraging Backbase's Intelligence Fabric capabilities ● Translate banking business requirements into technical solutions that demonstrate clear ROI and competitive advantage;
● Create and present reference architectures, solution designs, and technical roadmaps to senior bank stakeholders;
● Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client challenges and map them to Intelligence Fabric capabilities;
● Develop compelling proof-of-concepts and demos that showcase the power of Backbase's data lake and AI capabilities;
● Collaborate with product teams to influence the Intelligence Fabric roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends;
● Guide customers through the evaluation process, addressing technical concerns and articulating implementation approaches;
● Stay current with emerging AI technologies and banking industry trends, becoming a thought leader in banking AI solutions.
How about you?
● 5+ years of experience architecting enterprise-scale data and AI solutions, with at least 3 years focusing on banking or financial services applications ● Deep understanding of data lake architectures, data governance frameworks, and AI implementation strategies;
● Experience designing and implementing solutions utilizing large language models, agentic AI, and machine learning in banking contexts;
● Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with emphasis on their AI and data services;
● Expertise in data security, privacy, and compliance requirements specific to the banking industry;
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences;
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
We will be extra happy if you:
● Experience with banking core systems integration and banking data models;
● Background in customer engagement platforms or digital banking solutions;
● Knowledge of banking-specific AI use cases such as fraud detection, personalization, risk assessment, and customer service automation;
● Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premise solutions common in banking environments;
● Prior experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
