The Smart Grid Technology Lab focuses on research in real-time simulation technologies, microgrid energy management, control systems, and other smart grid technologies. We apply cutting-edge technologies to the digital power industry. The lab has developed into a research organization with significant achievements and a strong impact in the industry.
About the job:
Design and develop AI tools and applications for smart grid and energy management systems.
Integrate machine learning models into real-world software platforms
Build scalable backend services and APIs for data processing, analysis, and control.
Collaborate with researchers to translate algorithms into deployable solutions
Work with large-scale data from simulations, sensors, and energy systems
Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and deployment
About the ideal candidate:
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or C++
Experience with machine learning and up-to-date AI frameworks.
Solid software engineering fundamentals (data structures, system design, APIs)
Experience building production-level applications
Basic understanding of power systems or smart grid concepts (preferred, not required)
