Our client is looking for a highly motivated AI Security Engineer who will ensure that security controls for AI platforms and models are thoughtfully designed, continuously maintained, and fully embedded into engineering and operational processes.
In this role, you will work closely with enabling teams across the CISO organization, leveraging existing security services and enhancing them with AI-specific capabilities and patterns.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organization, collaborate with international stakeholders, and contribute to building secure AI capabilities across the enterprise.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and continuously maintain security controls covering AI platforms, models, data pipelines, and inference environments.
- Embed AI-specific security requirements into engineering, MLOps, and day-to-day operational processes.
- Partner with SOC/CERT, IAM, Cloud Security, Platform Security, and Security Management teams to extend existing security services with AI-specific capabilities and patterns, rather than building parallel structures.
- Establish consistent, scalable security patterns and guardrails for AI use cases to prevent fragmented or inconsistent risk treatment across business units.
- Act as the enterprise point of expertise on emerging AI risks (model poisoning, data leakage, adversarial inputs, misuse of generative outputs), proactively identifying and mitigating them before they materialize into incidents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to integrate AI security controls into enterprise AI/ML platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Deep experience in designing, operating, and scaling enterprise security controls, with strong operational ownership and seamless integration into SOC/CERT, IAM, Cloud Security, and CI/CD environments.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML platforms (data pipelines, model training, inference, model repositories) and AI-specific threats such as model poisoning, data leakage, adversarial inputs, and misuse of generative outputs.
- Proven ability to embed AI security controls into enterprise platforms and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML security techniques, tools, or frameworks such as adversarial ML, model scanning, AI guardrails, MITRE ATLAS, and secure AI lifecycle approaches.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act, with experience translating these into practical technical controls.
- Experience shaping multi-year security capability roadmaps, building investment cases, and managing specialist vendors delivering AI security tooling and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with an independent and proactive approach to work.
- Business-fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage.
Benefits
- A responsible role with high visibility in an international corporate environment.
- Preferred employment under a permanent employment contract (UoP), with the possibility of B2B cooperation.
