Building better and safer isn’t a slogan, but the way we show up in the world.
It’s how we make sure technology speaks not only in code, but with meaning: better technologies, better ways of working, and more inclusive communities.
We align with what matters for people and for the planet, actively nurturing it to be better and safer.
At the centre, it’s our people who power everything we do. It’s their talent, drive and different ways of thinking that keep us moving forward, pushing the limits of what’s possible.
We’re looking for an AI Consultant for SDLC to lead the adoption and strategic use of AI across our software development lifecycle. If you thrive at the intersection of software engineering and emerging AI tools, and you’re ready to lead by example, this role is for you.
Note: This is an adoption role focused on engineer’s tooling and workflow improvement, not a model-building or data science role.
What you’ll do :
As part of the Internal AI Ops team, your mission combines two dimensions:
1. Evangelize the smart use of AI within engineering teams
- Inspire and guide engineering teams to embed AI into daily workflows and decision making
- Lead hands-on sessions, demos and peer labs
- Cultivate technical confidence and responsible usage of AI tools
- Identify meaningful use cases and lead them from concept to deployment
2. Be our in-house expert in AI tools for the SDLC
- Evaluate, master and deploy tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Pooside, Windsurf
- Design prompt libraries, use-case templates and integration flows
- Connect tools across the engineering ecosystem, from development environments to issue trackers and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor tool performance and lead iterative improvements based on impact
What you bring:
- Experience driving changes in engineering environments using change-management practices (e.g. ADKAR) to influence adoption and overcome resistance
- Confidence to lead conversations with developers, product owners, and engineering managers
- Solid background in software-engineering workflows (you understand how code is built, reviewed, tested and shipped; hands-on when helpful)
- Curiosity and hands-on skills with AI developer tooling and automation
- A systems-thinking mindset and the ability to translate developer pain points into smart, scalable AI-enabled solutions
- Bonus if you have experience in DevEx, automation, building internal dev tools, and using platforms like VSCode, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
What’s in it for you:
- Influence how AI is used at scale by hundreds of engineers
- Shape how developer-facing AI tools are used across the SDLC
- Shape engineering guardrails, policy and audit-ready practices for AI-assisted development
- Join a culture of engineering excellence and innovation
- Collaborate with other AI experts and business stakeholders across the company
- Access the latest tooling, share best practices, and make your mark
Ready to lead from the inside?
In your cover letter, tell us how you’ve introduced AI-assisted development into real SDLC workflows. We’d love to know how you made adoption stick, overcame resistance, or scaled success across teams. Built prompt libraries, integrated Copilot into repos/CI, or improved review/test cycles with AI? We want to hear it. Let’s redefine together how software gets built.
