WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep learning, AI, and software engineering practices, with proven experience in research and development in these areas. You should be comfortable with programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python, and familiar with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch. Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential. You must be passionate and a fearless explorer.

Research and Applications

We are in the process of developing the next generation of AI Agents, designed to autonomously learn through interactions with humans or other AI agents. Our goal is to enable these agents to proactively reason and categorize content, thereby enhancing users' creativity, awareness, and ability to create. We are currently seeking candidates who have shown significant research and development contributions in some of the following domains:

·LLM Agents, Collaborative LLM Agents, etc. (e.g., LangChain)

·Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback or AI Feedback (RLHF/RLAIF) – PPO DPO, etc.

·Deep Reinforcement Learning

· Multi-modal Large/Small Language Models or Large/Small Language Models

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with our team of leading researchers in deep learning and AI
• Advance the frontiers of machine intelligence, striving to create video understanding systems
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field. This includes following current research and developing state-of-the-art AI technology.
• Develop and maintain a robust infrastructure for AI R&D and experimentation
• Develop tooling and visualizations
• Create pre-training data designed to reinforce uni- and multi-modality patterns.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with Multi-modal Foundation Models, Multi-modal Large Language Models, Visual-Language Models, Large Language Models (LLM), and Video Understanding.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and neural networks.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Proven track record in AI research, evidenced by publications, contributions to open-source projects, or previous work experience in a similar role.
• Experience in conducting experiments and interpreting results in the context of AI or machine learning.
• Expertise in data gathering, preprocessing, and augmentation, especially with uni-modal, multi-modal, and instruction-based data.
• Ability to tackle complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential since the role involves working within a team and possibly interacting with external stakeholders.
• Since AI is rapidly evolving, having a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies is crucial.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and data and make informed decisions based on that analysis.
