In this Role you Will:
- Contribute to architecture decisions, ensuring our tech stack aligns with business needs and growth.
- Create robust data pipelines in Python capable of processing and analyzing datasets comprising hundreds of millions of documents.
- Develop a framework for integrating advanced NLP and retrieval methodologies that will set the standard for our organization's AI efforts.
- Bring your past experience to evaluate multiple approaches, identify the most effective strategies, and implement a solution that meets our performance and scalability requirements.
- Work closely with our engineering, data, and product teams to integrate semantic capabilities into our core services and ensure smooth adoption across our platform.
- Monitor the performance of the new pipeline and iterate quickly based on community innovation and feedback.
A Key Candidate Will Have:
- Demonstrable experience in building and scaling data processing pipelines in Python.
- Hands-on experience managing and processing very large datasets.
- A track record of working with retrieval-augmented generation or similar AI architectures, with the insight to choose and implement the right approach for a given use case.
- Ability to establish best practices and guide the team on what a best-in-class pipeline should look like, even when starting from scratch.
- Familiarity with startup environments and a passion for working at our stage of growth.
- A track record of delivering features at velocity while maintaining high standards for code quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate decisions and solutions effectively, while engaging meaningfully with the team and naturally participating in discussions and idea sharing.

What does the interview process look like?
The process depends on the role. For all positions, we like to start with a quick intro call just to make sure we're aligned.
From there, we typically do a longer (45min) call with one of our team members that can appropriately vet your skills & "speak your language" - on the engineering side, this might mean some technical questions, while on the sales side we ask you to build a quick presentation about yourself.
