Looking for a Product Owner role with real variety, real impact, and room to grow? This permanent full-time opportunity could be the one.

At Fulton Hogan, you’ll own one or more digital products across a varied portfolio that can include applications, data products, SaaS platforms, and AI services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, technical specialists, and delivery teams to turn business priorities into clear product direction, well-shaped backlogs, and outcomes that make a difference.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and delivery, likes solving real business problems, and wants to keep building their product career in a team that is flat, friendly, and forward moving.

You’ll also be joining our growing AI Practice at an exciting stage, helping shape how we use AI across the business and playing a real part in where we go next.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the product backlog so the highest-value work is ready to move.
• Shape and maintain product roadmaps that align with business goals and delivery priorities.
• Work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and technical specialists to gather insights and make smart trade-offs.
• Use feedback, data, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and value realisation.
• Support quality, governance, and product integrity so delivered solutions are fit for purpose.

• Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role.
• Strong backlog management skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Confidence working across business, design, delivery, and technical teams.
• A collaborative, curious, and outcome-focused approach, with the ability to handle competing priorities.
• Experience using data, insights, and cost awareness to support product decisions and continuous improvement.
