As an AI Product Owner, you'll help shape the delivery of enterprise AI capabilities, turning ambitious ideas into practical solutions that support colleagues and customers. At EDF, Success is Personal, giving you the freedom to grow your career while helping deliver meaningful change.

The Opportunity

As an AI Product Owner, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day ownership and delivery of EDF UK's shared AI platform, tooling and Centre of Excellence initiatives. Working at the heart of our Enterprise AI function, you'll help translate strategy into action, ensuring the right products, services and capabilities are delivered to maximise business value.

You’ll join us on a salary starting of £60,000 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a highly flexible role with location flexibility across the UK, combining remote working with opportunities to collaborate in person when needed across our office network.

You'll work closely with engineers, architects, suppliers and business stakeholders to help shape the future of AI across EDF. From defining roadmaps and prioritising investment to supporting our journey towards An Electric Britain, you'll have the opportunity to influence how AI product management evolves within a growing and ambitious capability.

Who You Are

We're looking for an AI Product Owner who can bring structure, focus and delivery expertise to complex technology initiatives. You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working across technical and non-technical teams. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Experience managing technology, platform, cloud, AI, data or software products and translating strategy into delivery
  • Strong technical understanding of software engineering, cloud platforms, architecture, APIs, AI services, integrations and non-functional requirements
  • Experience managing complex backlogs and prioritising work based on value, risk, strategic objectives and delivery constraints
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, suppliers and senior leaders
  • Experience converting high-level objectives into delivery plans, user stories, acceptance criteria and roadmap outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience navigating ambiguity, evaluating trade-offs and making pragmatic decisions
  • An interest in AI technologies and the ability to connect technical developments with business value
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to drive delivery and alignment

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and managing the backlog for shared AI services, platform capabilities and delivery initiatives
  • Translating business demand and technical requirements into prioritised epics, user stories and roadmap outcomes
  • Coordinating delivery activities across engineers, partners, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Supporting delivery planning by identifying dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with technical teams to shape requirements, challenge assumptions and support successful outcomes

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a starting salary of £60,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us.
