Job Summary:

As an AI Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our Invoice to Pay FinTech SaaS product, reimagining what's possible within the financial technology space. You will champion a customer-centric approach, deeply understanding user needs and translating them into innovative, AI-native solutions that deliver exceptional value. This role focuses on creating fundamentally new, intelligent, and indispensable experiences by leveraging AI to transform how businesses manage their financial operations. You will own the entire product lifecycle, from initial ideation and strategic planning to development, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring measurable outcomes. In our dynamic environment, you will take ownership of both strategic vision and detailed execution, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to pioneer AI-powered solutions that feel intuitive and intelligent.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• No direct reports
• Mentorship and guidance of product teams on AI product management and adoption
• Serve as the primary AI evangelist within the product organization

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic Product Discovery and Validation: Actively engage with customers, sales, support, and market research to gather insights, identify key user needs, and discover market white space where AI offers a distinct advantage within invoice-to-pay processes. Lead the ideation process, organizing and prioritizing feature requests and product enhancements based on strategic alignment, user impact, and business value.
• Define Product Vision and Roadmap: Craft compelling product visions and strategies that leverage the unique capabilities of AI, aligning with our broader company goals. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, clearly communicating priorities and timelines to stakeholders.
• Accelerated Prototyping and Learning: Drive a "build-to-learn" approach, rapidly developing and testing prototypes and MVPs. Define and articulate clear product requirements through epics and user stories, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
• Champion AI Experimentation and Deep Understanding: Foster an environment of continuous experimentation with new AI models, prompting techniques, and interaction patterns. Apply expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI orchestration frameworks to translate complex AI capabilities into tangible product features for fintech applications.
• End-to-End Product Ownership and Delivery: Own the entire product lifecycle for your initiatives – from initial ideation and concept validation through development, launch, and continuous optimization. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure successful product delivery, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Data-Driven Optimization and UX: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement, championing a culture of data-driven decision-making. Beyond raw AI power, obsess over the overall user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, delightful, and seamlessly integrate intelligence in a way that feels natural and magical within financial workflows.
• Cross-Functional Leadership and Go-to-Market: Act as the central hub for your product area, effectively communicating strategy, roadmap, and progress to engineering, design, leadership, and other stakeholders. Drive go-to-market activities, collaborating with marketing, sales, and implementation teams to ensure successful product launches and develop sales enablement materials. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment on product strategy and execution.
• Market Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge. Ensure that the outcomes of the initiatives are reached, not just the output, through transparent iteration and feedback loops.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, preferably within the FinTech industry, with a verifiable track record of bringing successful, user-facing products or tools powered by Generative AI to market.
• Mastery of modern product principles, including continuous discovery, hypothesis testing, and a relentless focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI development frameworks, understanding their practicalities and limitations.
• Innate curiosity for cutting-edge AI advancements and a proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments, shaping complex problems into clear, actionable product strategies.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest AI research, models, and capabilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with an intuitive understanding of human-computer interaction, especially in the context of AI, passionate about crafting delightful, intelligent experiences.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and ambitious product visions clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong understanding of financial technology and the Invoice to Pay process.
• Proficiency with product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ProductBoard, Confluence).
• Ability to drive outcomes, not just outputs.
• Experience with user research and validation techniques.
• Strong understanding of product go-to-market strategies.

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management roles.

Preferred:

• Master's degree or MBA.
• Demonstrated experience shipping successful Generative AI products to market.
• Experience in the financial technology (Fintech) or SaaS industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in launching and managing SaaS products.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
• May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
