The PositionPrimary Purpose of Job (Job Summary)
As the AI Product Manager, you will lead the strategic development and implementation guidance of AI & Digital empowered solutions, ensuring strict alignment with business objectives. You will drive the delivery of key initiatives including DPMM (Digital Patient Monitoring and Management), PLM (Patient-Like-Me), Content Generation, and Research Solutions. Success in this position requires partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Customer Engagement (CE), and Access teams to foster strategic synergy and ensure the seamless execution of these digital innovations.
Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities
1. Strategic Planning & Lifecycle Management Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for the assigned AI & Digital empowered solutions (e.g., DPMM, PLM, Content Generation, or Research Solutions) that aligns with the organization’s overall business goals.
a) Market Intelligence: Conduct regular analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the data-driven product management and marketing landscape.
b) Roadmap & Implementation: Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams on the deployment of digital solutions; develop and maintain a phased roadmap to ensure structured execution and scalability.
c) Partnership Management: Establish and nurture relationships with external partners—including data providers, technology vendors, and industry experts—to leverage external capabilities and accelerate innovation.
d) Continuous Improvement: Create a systematic mechanism for the ongoing review and optimization of strategies, processes, and product performance across the solution lifecycle.
2. Scientific Leadership & Ecosystem Engagement Reinforce Roche’s position as a scientific leader in the increasingly competitive and evolving Innovative Healthcare Solution landscape.
a) Ecosystem Collaboration: Leverage internal expertise while fostering collaborations with key players in the external AI & Digital Innovation ecosystem to demonstrate scientific value and address stakeholder needs.
b) Value Communication: Ensure the medical and scientific value of the digital solutions is effectively communicated and recognized by the healthcare system, leveraging existing medical team expertise and stakeholder networks.
3. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies, SOPs, and local regulations across all initiatives.
a) Medical Governance: Uphold high standards of scientific and medical compliance, ensuring a balanced framework for risk/benefit management specifically tailored to digital health innovations.
b) Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee that all initiatives strictly comply with Roche’s SOPs, codes of conduct, and local regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in life sciences, medicine, or data science, i.e. an MBA, or equivalent combination of scientific and business education/experience is helpful, such as strategy consulting experience
2. >2 years’ experience in medical affairs, marketing, business development, digital innovation in multinational company
