The Opportunity:
commercetools encourages critical thinking and data-driven decision-making. To support our data strategy, we are hiring an experienced Data Analyst. In this role, you will act as a catalyst for change in how commercetools stores, processes, and utilizes data. Our main goals are to create new dashboards and reports using Tableau to provide a user-friendly and intuitive experience to our internal users and also use generative AI and Agents to present a new way of using data for business decisions.
This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week in our Munich or Valencia office.
We will offer relocation to Valencia for this role.
- Design and implement our BI solution (Tableau), ensuring that all data protection requirements are met
- Lead the development and implementation of interactive data agents using LLMs and Generative AI, creating a modern, conversational interface for business users to perform analytics.
- Support the creation and implementation of a conversational interface using LLM, Generative AI and Data Agents to provide a new way of data consumption
- Support Data Engineers in planning and developing new data models that allow user-friendly, customized reporting
- Support the various international business units by giving them access to BI solutions tailored to their needs and create customized dashboards based on those data models
- Drive the right strategy to continuously increase dashboard performance
- Collaborate with team members to collect data and execute the company’s mission
- Analyze business requirements and processes, providing recommendations to management and executives for implementation
- Identify development needs to streamline and improve the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
- Professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence on the Analysis and Administration side
- Experience managing complex BI projects
- A proven track record of successfully implementing and administrating BI reports using Tableau
- A proven track record of successful usage of Generative AI for data Analytics
- Excellent knowledge of Tableau
- Excellent knowledge of Google Vertex AI and Gemini
- Sound knowledge of query and data manipulation languages e.g. SQL, etc.
- Good understanding of data structures and data management
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
- A naturally proactive approach with the ability to bring new ideas to fruition in a solution-oriented way
- Expertise in building and optimizing data models directly within Google BigQuery.
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge in Google Cloud Platform solutions and/or basic Python
