As part of the HR Chief Data Office, you will help support the responsible growth of technology across Human Resources by contributing to the governance, review, and implementation of AI use cases in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal standards. As an AI Policy and Regulatory Change - Senior Associate in the HR Chief Data Office team, you will support key transformation initiatives across AI governance, reporting to the Vice President responsible for AI Policy and Regulatory Change. In this role, you will help execute work related to regulatory change, AI use case governance, controls, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and delivery tracking. This is an execution-oriented role with clear responsibility for supporting discovery, requirements gathering, backlog management, delivery coordination, issue tracking, and quality review.

Job responsibilities

  • Support Human Resources implementation of laws, rules, and regulations related to the use and deployment of AI use cases.
  • Assess new and emerging regulatory requirements impacting Human Resources use cases and support action planning through the legal and regulatory change management process.
  • Support regulatory compliance programs impacting AI and data privacy, including the European Union AI Act, Colorado AI Act, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) automated decision-making technology requirements.
  • Translate requirements into practical Human Resources controls, process documentation, deliverables, and implementation plans.
  • Assist with AI and machine learning use-case reviews, model risk alignment, vendor and privacy due diligence, control documentation, gap tracking, and issue remediation activities.
  • Maintain Human Resources guardrails related to fairness, transparency, data minimization, explainability, human review, bias testing, documentation standards, and testing protocols.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources Controls, Information Security, Model Risk, Internal Audit, Technology, and Human Resources partners to gather inputs, track deliverables, document decisions, and support effective execution of AI governance activities.
  • Support change management and readiness by maintaining documentation, tracking testing activities, coordinating readiness items, and confirming launch requirements are completed.
  • Prepare summaries, trackers, meeting materials, and status updates to support governance forums, management updates, and audit-ready documentation.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience supporting compliance, risk, controls, regulatory change, data governance, privacy, technology risk, or related programs in the financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of issue management, control design, control testing, operational effectiveness, or risk assessment activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Compliance, Controls, Technology, and second- and third-line stakeholders.
  • Analytical, issue-spotting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear business, risk, and control considerations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities across a global business environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of AI regulations, responsible AI principles, data privacy, model risk, or emerging technology governance.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting regulatory change management, policy implementation, control documentation, or governance routines.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources processes, employee data, workforce technology, or employee experience platforms.
  • Experience using project trackers, requirements documents, issue logs, testing evidence, or governance materials.
