  • Build and improve multi-tool agent workflows that integrate large language models with APIs, serverless backend services, and enterprise pharmacy and benefits systems
  • Design and implement conversation state, memory and context handling, and response personalization for multi-turn user interactions
  • Contribute significantly to the architecture, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure for AI solutions, utilizing Infrastructure as Code principles for reliable deployments
  • Improve model and agent quality through evaluation loops, error analysis, prompt and tool tuning, and continuous experimentation
  • Design and build reusable AI/ML platforms, components, and frameworks to accelerate innovation across the engineering team
  • Exhibit technical best practices for AI systems in regulated environments

At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. We believe everyone-of every race, gender, sexuality, age, location and income-deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. Today, however, there are still far too many barriers to good health which are disproportionately experienced by people of color, historically marginalized groups and those with lower incomes. We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes - an enterprise priority reflected in our mission.
