AI in Operations Strategy and Transformation Office – AI Program Manager, Vice President
The AI in Operations program is a cross-firm initiative with the strategic goals of driving AI impact at scale across the Operations teams. This program consists of Domain Product teams owning expansion of common capabilities and of the Strategy and Transformation Office, driving the Scaling and Reimagination teams, executive reporting and strategic direction into new Domains and Capabilities. Working closely with AI teams across the firm, the program ensures efficient, thoughtful, innovative use of AI solutions across the Operations space. The newly formed Transformation Office functions as a strategic accelerator driving strategy and execution of AI initiatives, with a focus of leading and accelerating the implementation of the AI in Operations program and providing standardization and transparency into Operations AI use cases across the firm. Given the importance and scale of this transformation, as part of this role you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our most senior leaders across the business.
As a Program Strategy Manager in the AI in Operations Transformation Office, you will drive the redesign of how Operations works in an AI-native world, moving beyond program administration to actively architect current-to-target state transformations that deliver measurable business impact. You will map how work happens today, design reimagined target-state workflows that embed AI and agentic capabilities, and stress-test those designs against real delivery targets. This is a builder's role: you will lead design-thinking workshops with the business, translate ambiguity into concrete workflow blueprints, and construct the business cases that justify investment and quantify value. Success requires genuine fluency with modern AI tools and agentic frameworks, a product transformation mindset shaped by leading change in large, complex enterprises, and the influencing skills to secure alignment and buy-in from senior stakeholders. Through your technical credibility and thought leadership, you will shape how AI reshapes Operations across the firm and move work forward that has firmwide impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end current-state mapping of operational workflows — documenting how work flows today, where friction and manual effort concentrate, and where AI and automation can create step-change improvement
- Design target-state workflows that natively embed AI tools and agentic frameworks, reimagining processes rather than simply digitizing existing steps
- Pressure-test target-state designs for rigor, feasibility, and value — challenging assumptions, quantifying expected impact, and ensuring designs hold up against real delivery targets and operational constraints
- Build robust business cases that articulate value drivers, investment requirements, expected returns, and success metrics to inform prioritization and secure funding
- Plan and facilitate design-thinking workshops with cross-functional business and technology partners to generate, refine, and validate transformation concepts
- Be hands-on and current with the evolving AI and agentic tooling landscape, bringing a practitioner's judgment on what is production-ready versus experimental
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI in Operations teams, AI teams across the firm, and Operations teams across the firm. Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Advise and influence senior leaders and business executives on key business decisions required and major change initiatives
Develop deep, trust-based advisor relationships with key client stakeholders in management and the Lines of Business (LoBs) to drive delivery and achieve organizational alignment and buy-in
Own communications across the program including high level changes, performance highlights.
Manage team proactively to ensure the success of programs including clearing of team roadblocks and supporting key escalations & challenges; Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, while ensuring the team has the necessary resources, skills, and support to achieve their goals and promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the team
