Job Overview: We are looking for an AI Operations Specialist to support the operational and financial management of our AI team. You will be responsible for managing the team's operational expenditure (opex), ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across the organization, including the CTO office, IT, and the Chief Data Office, and more. This role will also drive the selection and implementation of tools for seamless team collaboration and performance measurement. You will play a critical role in executing the AI strategies of the company and supporting the Chief AI Office in optimizing team efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opex Management: Manage and track the AI team’s budget, including both headcount and non-headcount expenditures. Ensure month-by-month and quarter-by-quarter alignment with financial goals and report progress to leadership.
  • Alignment with AI Team : Act as the key liaison between the AI team and internal stakeholders.
  • Tool Research & Implementation: Research and recommend project management and collaboration tools that foster seamless communication and workflow across the AI team and broader organization.
  • Performance Measurement: Identify and implement tools for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the AI team’s impact and progress against strategic goals.
  • Strategy Execution: Work closely with the AI Operational Leader and Chief AI Officer to support the execution of AI strategies, ensuring the smooth running of team operations and resource alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an operations, finance, or business management role, ideally within a technology, AI, or engineering organization.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing opex and tracking budget performance.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration software; experience in researching and implementing new systems is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Experience in tracking and measuring KPIs for team performance is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
