We currently have a vacancy for an AI / ML / NLP Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Collect business requirements and analyze advanced AI solutions, or identify and evaluate existing data mining, machine learning, and business intelligence solutions;
- Participate in designing IT architecture for NLP, ML, and AI solutions, and coordinate implementation while considering master and metadata management;
- Specify and design user interfaces with a focus on optimal usability and user experience;
- Develop and evaluate data models and perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods;
- Contribute to the design and implementation of analytics architecture and solution stack, including performance optimization, physical design, and capacity planning;
- Create automated anomaly detection systems and continuously monitor their performance;
- Contribute to the analysis of data management vision, strategy, and policies, and derive corresponding IT requirements;
- Conduct business process analysis and modeling, including risk analysis.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with Machine Learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Networks, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks;
- Experience with LLMs and NLP systems lifecycle and Agile software development methodologies;
- Experience with Graph Databases;
- Experience in one of the following areas: predictive (forecasting, recommendation), prescriptive (simulation), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media crawling and processing, plagiarism detection, trends/anomalies detection in datasets, recommendation systems;
- Experience in the field of corpus-based linguistics;
- Experience with alignment models and classification methods;
- Experience with data analytics over big datasets, non-structured databases as well as data lakes;
- Experience in the ETL processes and tools (SAS, Talend Open Studio etc.);
- Experience with languages like R, Python, PERL;
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagram etc.);
- Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value;
- Good knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, SAS, SAP);
- Good knowledge of SQL tooling (NoSQL DB, MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL);
- Knowledge of architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data stores;
- Excellent command of the English language.
