Project Role : AI / ML Engineer
Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.

Summary:
As an AI / ML Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that integrate artificial intelligence technologies and cloud-based AI services. The role requires managing the development pipeline to ensure solutions are production-ready, incorporating generative artificial intelligence models effectively. Daily activities may include working on deep learning frameworks, neural network architectures, chatbot functionalities, and image processing tasks, all aimed at delivering innovative and scalable AI-driven solutions within a collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the integration of generative artificial intelligence models into existing systems to enhance functionality and performance.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align AI solutions with organizational goals and project requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong experience with Python and SQL for data processing and pipeline development.
- Nice to have:
- Hands-on with Azure data services: Data Lake (ADLS), Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Purview.
- Familiarity with Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark jobs, notebooks).
- Experience with vector databases and embedding pipelines for GenAI/RAG.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes basics).
- Exposure to LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and AI Studio.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ).
- Knowledge of streaming (Kafka/Event Hubs) and real-time data products.
- Performance tuning for large-scale embeddings and distributed compute.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python Frameworks, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI.
- Strong experience in developing and deploying AI models using cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of deep learning techniques, including neural networks and their applications.
- Ability to design and implement scalable AI pipelines that ensure production-level quality and reliability.
- Familiarity with chatbot development and image processing methodologies.
- Experience in optimizing AI models for performance and resource efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Python Frameworks.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
