Project Role : AI / ML Engineer
Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.
Must have skills : Python Frameworks, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI

Summary:
As an AI / ML Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that integrate artificial intelligence technologies and cloud-based AI services. The role requires managing the entire application pipeline, ensuring solutions are production-ready and scalable. The engineer applies generative artificial intelligence models to enhance system capabilities and may work on diverse projects including deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents, and image analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with project goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering innovation and efficiency in delivering AI-driven products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the integration of generative artificial intelligence models into existing and new applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support continuous learning and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of AI solutions with business objectives and technical requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Python: FastAPI backend development
- gitlab pipelines, CI/CD automation development
- Basic understanding of GenAI processes such as embeddings, indexes, LLMs
- Azure Cloud development (important)
basic ansible knowledge to work with Azure Cloud
- C#/.NET knowledge (old app migration)
- very basic React / Typescript understanding to develop a small team-internal frontend
knowledge of agent-assisted development
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python Frameworks, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI.
- Strong experience in developing and deploying AI models using cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of neural networks, deep learning architectures, and their practical applications.
- Ability to design and implement scalable AI pipelines that ensure production-level quality and reliability.
- Experience with chatbot development, image processing techniques, and natural language processing.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and collaborative coding environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Python Frameworks.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
