AI/ML Architect

Summary

Guidewire is seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to lead the design and development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions within our platform. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and architectural vision to drive scalable, innovative, and effective AI integrations that enhance our insurance software offerings.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Architect high-level AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals and product strategies.

• Lead the end-to-end design of AI/ML components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models into Guidewire applications.

• Define standards, best practices, and governance for AI/ML development and deployment.

• Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and recommend their adoption into the platform.

• Drive technical innovation by exploring advanced AI/ML techniques, including deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams and stakeholders.

• Document architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.

What you’ll have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field; PhD preferred.

• 10 years of relevant experience 

• Extensive experience designing and implementing AI/ML architectures in enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Hands-on experience with big data technologies and distributed computing.

• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and system integration.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

What will help you stand out

• Experience working with Guidewire products or insurance domain knowledge.

• Relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, or architecture frameworks.

• Proven track record of delivering scalable AI/ML solutions in production environments.
