Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our AI/ML initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions, driving innovation and aligning technical projects with business objectives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven features within our insurance software platform and make a significant impact on the industry.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver AI/ML projects that enhance product capabilities and customer experience.

  • Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.

  • Collaborate with product management, data science, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions.

  • Establish best practices, standards, and governance for AI/ML development and deployment within the organization.

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging AI/ML technologies to guide innovation strategies.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and developers.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields; MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Proven success in delivering AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments, ideally within insurance or SaaS industries.

  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.

  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Guidewire products or insurance domain expertise.

  • Relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or project management.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
