The Role

What you'll do

We are seeking a motivated and proactive AI Literacy and Adoption Consultant to join our AI and Emerging Technology team. This role will focus on driving enterprise-wide AI literacy and AI tool adoption to improve productivity and incorporate AI into business processes to drive growth. The ideal candidate will create comprehensive training programs and materials, collaborate with HR, and partner with the AI Transformation Lead, internal subject matter experts (SMEs), and industry partners to ensure employees are well-equipped to leverage AI technologies effectively.

Reporting to the Communications and Learning Manager, the successful candidate will also play a crucial role in facilitating mindset changes across the organization by promoting continuous learning and adaptability through structured upskilling programs and creative learning engagement opportunities. As the AI Literacy and Adoption Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive training on our AI capabilities, enabling employees to seamlessly integrate these tools into their roles, thereby enhancing productivity and innovation. 

In this role, you'll:

  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to integrate AI into their daily business routines. Identify training needs and create content that demonstrates the value and functionality of AI and emerging tools for various stakeholder groups.

  • Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development: Partner with HR and Learning & Development teams to seamlessly integrate AI and innovation training into existing development programs and learning management systems, ensuring alignment with overall learning objectives.

  • Promote Technical Product Adoption: Understand user needs and utilize design thinking principles to drive adoption and engagement of technical products among business users, employing a human-centered approach to support tool utilization.

  • Engage with Communications Resources: Work closely with the Communications Advisor and Visual Storyteller to produce engaging and informative communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging throughout the skilling and adoption process.

  • Lead Change Initiatives: Design and spearhead initiatives that foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, learning, and adaptability within the organization to a new way of working in the age of AI.

  • Monitor and Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Track progress and assess the effectiveness of training programs through established metrics and feedback mechanisms, continuously refining approaches for optimal impact.

  • Plan Launch Events: Organize and execute launch events, workshops and various engagement initiatives (e.g. Hackathon, Conference, Community of Practice etc.) to introduce new AI tools and services, driving successful internal adoption and engagement.

  • Develop Mitigation Strategies for Barriers and Risks: Identify potential barriers to change as well as risks and resistance related to AI adoption. Develop proactive strategies to address these challenges effectively.

  • Promote a Learning Culture: Support the development of a culture that prioritizes continuous learning and a growth mindset in the age of AI, encouraging employees to embrace new technologies confidently.

  • Support Team Operations: Assist in managing the group inbox to address employee inquiries and help execute events, all aimed at enhancing the employee learning experience.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Information Systems, Adult Education, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

  • 8+ years of experience in change management and learning content curation.

  • Proven experience in learning and adopting AI technologies, with a technical proficiency through education or work experience, enabling effective communication and collaboration with technical teams

  • Proven success in applying adult learning theories and principles within large enterprises, along with familiarity with key industry players in the learning and development space.

  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing technical products to business users. Adept at identifying user requirements and applying innovative strategies, including design thinking, to encourage product adoption and maximize engagement.

  • Demonstrated success in leading people enablement and learning initiatives specifically for technology products.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions, coupled with a results-driven, action-oriented mindset.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively and build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.

  • Solid understanding of AI and its capabilities to empower employees to harness it effectively.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in swiftly adapting to new environments and acquiring new tools and skills to effectively accomplish tasks.
