The Opportunity:
Chewy is embarking on a journey to redefine the future of commerce with Unbound: The Innovators' Arena. This program isn't just an internship; it's a competitive, high-stakes arena for the brightest minds to redefine the boundaries of AI and commerce. This program will offer a platform to showcase your talents and redefine what's possible. You'll gain hands-on experience solving real-world, high-impact challenges. This is a chance to work alongside and learn from top innovators in the industry!
The Challenge:
You will have an opportunity to conceptualize and implement an AI-powered solution that has the potential to redefine the future of e-commerce. This will be your idea implemented and brought to life, by you. You'll start in teams of two and throughout the program, you will merge with other teams as ideas are curated through competition.
This challenge will test not only your technical expertise but also your leadership, adaptability, and vision. The program will culminate in a high-profile Grand Finale, where your work will be presented to senior executives and industry leaders!
What You'll Do:
- Work in teams to conceptualize, build, and present an AI-driven solution with the potential to redefine e-commerce
- Participate in 10 weeks of intense collaboration, innovation, and iteration
- Refine your project through successive rounds of absorption, where top-performing teams integrate new members to scale their ideas
- Present your solution in a Grand Finale at Chewy's Florida headquarters to a panel of senior executives
What You'll Need:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in fields such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, with an anticipated graduation date of 2025 or 2026
- Strong curiosity about AI, innovation, and the future of commerce
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven track record working in dynamic, ambiguous, fast paced environments
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and defend high-reaching ideas
- Track record of taking on complex challenges with innovative solutions
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025

The specific hourly range offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Pay Range
$32-$40 USD
