We're looking for someone with strong applied AI background who has hands-on experience leading data science projects, focusing on business impact. In this role you'll lead a team of data scientists, foster academic collaborations, and drive AI exploration initiatives. We need someone who collaborated with cross-functional teams, who can both drive AI exploration activities and contribute with AI expertise to ongoing full-scale delivery projects and integrate AI solutions into existing products and services, contributing to our AI strategy and innovation.
Here, you’ll be at the heart of AI exploration initiatives, identifying new opportunities and creating proof-of-concepts, to demonstrate the potential of AI technologies. Your strategic thinking will contribute to the development of our AI strategy, and you will play a key role in integrating AI solutions into our existing products and services, ensuring they align with our companywide guidelines and processes.
As an innovation leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating frameworks for monitoring business impact of AI innovation projects. Additionally, you will engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Your qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI role
- 3-5 years of experience in a leader role in industrial-scale AI projects and teams.
- Strong track record in AI technologies and academic collaboration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, and experience with cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP are essential.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Location:
Preferred locations for this position are in Sweden (Huskvarna, Stockholm, Malmö or Jonsered).
But, with our hybrid working environment, you'll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (50%).
