Job DescriptionWise is looking for an AI Implementation Manager to drive the expansion of Wise Assistant—our customer-facing AI agent. As we scale this technology from Customer Support into core product domains (Send, Account, Business, Spend) and critical servicing areas (FinCrime, KYC, PayOps), you will own end-to-end execution.
You’ll coordinate complex rollouts, navigate regulatory approvals, manage vendor partnerships, and unblock parallel workstreams to keep launches timely, secure, and high-quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead Cross-Domain Rollouts: Direct Wise Assistant implementations across product lines, taking ownership of project timelines, technical dependencies, and cross-team alignment.
Own Compliance & Privacy Pathways: Navigate regulatory requirements for every expansion, managing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data handling reviews, and security sign-offs.
Manage Vendor Relationships: Lead third-party procurement, vendor onboarding, contract structuring, and commercial negotiations.
Drive Domain Expansion: Gather operational requirements from new servicing areas, build clear implementation roadmaps, and direct proof-of-concept (PoC) work.
Establish Frameworks: Design scalable processes and operating models in an evolving, high-growth AI environment.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Implementation Track Record: Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects to completion—ideally involving AI, automation, or technical software products.
Rigorous Project Management: Ability to manage multiple high-stakes, parallel workstreams without sacrificing quality or communication.
Regulatory & Compliance Navigational Skills: Hands-on experience working alongside Privacy, Security, and Legal teams to clear approval gates.
Conversational AI Familiarity: Working knowledge of conversational AI agents, LLM deployments, or customer-facing automation systems.
Vendor & Commercial Procurement: Proven capability in managing vendors, including contract oversight and commercial terms negotiation.
Adaptability: Comfort operating in ambiguity with a drive to build processes where none currently exist.
Nice to Have
Experience within fintech, banking, or another heavily regulated sector.
Familiarity with data privacy and AI regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).
Practical understanding of customer service operations and support workflows.
