AI Engineering Intern

Role Location: Los Angeles, CA

First Resonance is looking for a passionate and motivated AI Engineer Intern to join our innovative team in Los Angeles, CA (HQ Downtown). This internship will provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering next-generation hardware manufacturers, including eVTOLs, rockets, robots, and autonomous vehicles.

• Assist in the development and deployment of Generative AI applications.

• Support the creation and optimization of generative algorithms for content creation, predictive analytics, and process automation.

• Collaborate in integrating AI capabilities with existing software products and data pipelines.

• Contribute to technical documentation, model evaluations, and architecture diagrams.

• Analyze data to refine models and algorithms, enhancing accuracy, relevance, and efficiency.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Familiarity with Python and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).

• Basic understanding of machine learning fundamentals and generative models.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).

• Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and curiosity.

• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, agile environments.

• Prior experience or personal projects involving generative AI or large language models (LLMs).

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.

• Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.

• Experience or interest in manufacturing technologies or Industry 4.0.

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Hands-on experience in generative AI engineering in an innovative industry.
