DeepIntent is seeking a AI Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team for Summer 2025. We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient candidate with a STEM background, ideally attending a technical university or college, to contribute to our innovative and data-driven team.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to apply AI tools, automation, and problem-solving skills to real-world business use cases in healthcare advertising. This internship is more than just an opportunity to explore AI—it’s a chance to shape how it is used across healthcare advertising. Our adoption of AI powered tools is fast-moving and hands-on; ideal for students looking to make an immediate impact and have a future career in technology or product development.
Responsibilities:
- Work on automating defined business processes using LLMs like OpenAI GPT
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to track project status and deliverables
- Communicate technical challenges and propose solutions in partnership with software engineers
- Prototype and test workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Open WebUI, RESTful APIs, and Python scripts
- Gain hands-on experience working in an applied AI environment
- Currently enrolled at a accredited technical university or college working towards a degree in a STEM discipline
- Experience using and configuring generative AI tools (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Familiar with HTTP protocols and working with APIs
- Strong interest in the personal and professional application of AI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical thinking skills
- Python scripting experience is a plus
- Able to work independently and proactively raise ideas or blockers
- Remote Position. Must be in and able to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Hourly Compensation: $20-$25/hour
