Job Summary:

As an AI Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Chief of AI to develop the first version of a new internal AI product, while also contributing to the delivery of bespoke AI solutions for clients across industries like retail, professional services, finance, and logistics. This role blends hands-on product development with practical AI consulting and implementation.

 Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI workflows that combine structured and unstructured data
• Design explainable, auditable, and modular AI components for production use
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate AI into real user experiences
• Support and co-deliver AI solutions for 9H clients (e.g., predictive AI, NLP, automation)
• Define and maintain a future-ready AI/ML stack (Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake, etc.)
• Help shape AI delivery playbooks and reusable solution frameworks across engagements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or AI, or a related field.
• Fluency in the English language is a must
• 4+ years of experience in building production-grade data pipelines and infrastructure
• 5+ years of experience with Python and tools like scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, XGBoost, and Pandas
• Hands-on experience with orchestration and infrastructure tools (e.g., Spark/Databricks)
  
• Comfortable working with Dash, Streamlit, Jupyter notebooks, and data visualization tools for prototyping and delivery is preferred
• Care deeply about data quality, lineage, and performance in real-world deployments
• Want to collaborate cross-functionally with ML engineers and product teams
• Experience with ML Ops tools such as MLflow for model tracking and deployment is preferred
  
• You’re analytical and proactive, ask the right questions, stay organised, and take ownership of your work, always aiming to understand the “why” behind what you’re building and documenting it clearly for others
