AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and agile AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy fast-turnaround AI prototypes. In this role, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to explore innovative AI solutions that can be tested and validated rapidly. You’ll play a critical role in translating conceptual ideas into tangible MVPs using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rapidly build and iterate on AI prototypes using tools such as AI Agents, LLM API calls, Pydantic AI, Langchain, RAGs, and other 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI use cases and data requirements.
• Build interactive demos or APIs to showcase the prototypes to internal or external stakeholders.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and evaluate new tools and libraries that can accelerate development.
• Optimize app performance and scalability for proof-of-concept demos.

• Deep proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including advanced types and modern features.
• Strong experience with the React and Remix full-stack frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience with modern build tools (Vite) and package managers (pnpm).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of in-browser development environments and WebContainers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a full-stack, real-time development context.
• Solid grasp of full-stack web application development principles.
• Understanding of AI agent interaction and prompt engineering.
• Experience with automated code quality and testing tools (ESLint, Prettier, Vitest or similar).
• Practical experience integrating and managing third-party APIs, particularly LLM APIs.
• Foundational understanding of LLM concepts (context windows, prompt engineering).
• Experience with Cloudflare Workers/Pages for serverless logic.
• Proficiency in SCSS and UnoCSS (or Tailwind CSS).
• Solid understanding of Git, including pull request workflows and conflict resolution.

• Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies (e.g., Vercel AI SDK, @ai-sdk/openai).
• Familiarity with Python, especially in shell environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare-specific tools (Wrangler, KV).
• Experience with monorepo/workspace tools (pnpm workspaces, Nx, Turborepo, Lerna).
• Knowledge of binary/text file handling, character encoding, and file system abstraction.
• Expertise in advanced CSS and modern CSS-in-JS methodologies.
• Active participation in open source projects.
• Experience with Coolify for deployment automation.
• Implementation of Git hooks with Husky and lint-staged for code quality.
• Understanding and application of CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks beyond Vitest (e.g., Jest, E2E testing).
• Experience with Linux/Mac/Windows packaging (Electron Builder).
• Understanding of cloud and DevOps concepts, including Docker, environment variables, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience creating technical documentation using Markdown.
• Experience with specific integrated services (Supabase, Expo, Stripe, Figma).
• Deeper understanding of Web Workers for performance optimization.
• Advanced LLM interaction principles (Prompt Engineering, Model Stacking).
• Strong grasp of native React and Remix state management patterns.
• Ability to design and implement custom state synchronization mechanisms.
